To Conclude

St Dominic’s Parish continues to flourish and is very much a thriving Parish Community in Bishopbriggs. Its people look forward to many more years of faithful worship and to extending the warmest of welcomes to visitors from all traditions and none, and of course to new Parishioners.

A non-denominational social club for all, (male and female), over the age of 60 years.

Activities: Games afternoons, musical afternoons, chair aerobics, line dancing, coach outings, dinner dances, quizzes, bingo, talks and demonstrations.

Location of meetings: Saint Dominic’s Parish Hall.

Time of Meetings: Wednesday afternoon between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Society of Saint Vincent de Paul (SVDP)

Description of group and its activities: Following the model of Saint Vincent de Paul we are engaged in charitable work within the parish. We also support the needy in local initiatives and projects in the Third World.

Location of meetings: Campsie Room in the Church Hall.

Time of Meetings: Wednesday evenings at 7pm.

Other information: We are a small but enthusiastic conference and are always looking for new members to boost our numbers.

The Welcoming Ministry
Union of Catholic Mothers (UCM)

Description of group and its activities:  Spiritual meetings and social evenings. We give support to each other in our sorrows and joys. One of our objects is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Location of meetings: Saint Matthews (Bishopbriggs) Church and Hall.

Time of Meetings: 7.30pm Tuesdays every fortnight. See program on church notice board for further details.

Other information: Always looking for new members, ladies whether married or single, all ages welcome.
